It was great to kick off the first club day yesterday
We had quite a few new racers learning the ropes and plenty lined up for the come and try.
It took us a while to get some engine gremlins sorted out for our 2 new cadets Abby and Will- but once they were going they both did a great job.
Mitch Arrow was the lucky winner of the Bunnings Voucher - a week after winning the first 2020 VCS tshirt.
It was a good days racing all round and we're looking forward to the March clubday already

What a nice winter turnout!
The racing was great in several classes, and the weather was kind.
Today's lucky draw winner was Greg Ord, who scored a $100 JB HIFI Voucher.

NOTE: We will NOT be running an August Clubday this month
Wimmera are running a club day on Saturday August 24, and several members will be racing there
We will post information of when the next Come and Try event is running when we have confirmed more details; but there will not be one in August.
(We should have another kart ready by that time too)
The September club day WILL go ahead and will be preceded by the Annual General Meeting.
We STRONGLY encourage all members to attend, as it is critical to the running of your club.
We then start a lot of work towards our Victorian Country Series Finale in November.
We will be calling on all members to be involved in any way they can and post more details of what we need in the lead up.
We enjoyed seeing faces out there and racing on the weekend.
Anthony Taylor picked up a $50 gift voucher just for turning up.
Our come and try kart got some great use, and we will work on getting a junior sized one as well.
Conditions clears up from some early moisture, but that prevented plenty of on track fun and challenges early on.
