Hot and dry conditions greeted the 200+ entrants who contested the 2009 Country Series Round 1 held by the Wimmera Go-Kart club at the Horsham track over the weekend of March 7/8.
Large fields in many of the 14 classes contested over the weekend saw close and exciting racing. Ballarat drivers competed in most classes, with highlights (= top 10 finish) as follows:
