Excellent racing conditions greeted the 200+ entrants who contested the 2008 Country Series Round 2 held by the South West Go-Kart club at the Cobden track over the weekend of April 19/20.
Large fields in many of the 12 classes contested over the weekend saw close and exciting racing mixed up with a number of collisions impacting the results for many drivers.
Over 20 Ballarat drivers competed in 10 of the 12 classes, with highlights (= top 10 finish) as follows:
