Cold, windy and at times wet conditions greeted the 185 entrants who contested the 2008 Country Series Round 2 held by the South West Go-Kart club at the Warnambool track over the weekend of June 21/22.
Large fields in many of the 13 classes contested over the weekend saw close and exciting racing made all the more exciting by the slippery track conditions during the first round of heats. With the track declared 'Wet' drivers had some difficult decisions to make on tyre selection.
