Cool and windy conditions greeted the 180+ entrants who contested the 2009 Country Series Round 2 held by the Portland Go-Kart Club at the Yarraman Park track over the weekend of May 23/24. Rain that threatened over the weekend held off to the relief of all.

Over 220 entrants contested the 2008 VIC Closed Titles held at the Ballarat track over the weekend of December 5/6/7. 
Fine weather was the order of the weekend giving all racers good conditions in their quest for state closed titles.
